I'm back from BKK... It seems so fast... Like i never go to bkk for holiday like tat.... Dunno y... this time dun have those, "I still in a holiday mood".... Maybe cos it's a short trip? I have been there b4?

But i enjoyed myself over there.......

Ok.... let see wat i have been doing there....

Day 1

Reached Bkk ard 12pm+.... Took a cab to our hotel, Samran, total fare ard 300 baht...... Need to paid for the expressway toll of 25baht and 40baht.....

When we reached Samran, it was not what i expected..... It is a small hotel..... really look like budget hotel...... But it's ok with mi...... As long as the room is clean.....

The hotel onli have 8 floors and i was given 3rd floor while i requested for high level... So i ask them whether can change to a higher level.... At first, they say the hotel is fully booked... So cannot change... But i need to wait 30mins for my room cos they haven't finished tidy up the room..... Therefore, i ask again for another room as we went to go out soon..... So they managed to find a room for us..... I tink is for another ppl but since they are not there yet... so they give us the room first...... And it is good.... Cos i'm at the same floor as Samantha......

The room is ok... But we cannot pull the curtains opened as opps is a construction site.....

After putting our luggage in the room. we proceed to Platium Mall..... We walked there... It took us ard 10-15mins..... From Samran, you turned right and walk straight..... until u see Platium Mall...... The shopping there is great as long as u have a shopping kaki with u.... Cos it is a wholesale center..... u need to buy at least 2-3 pieces to have the wholesale price..... The clothes there is veri cheap...... ranging from 100baht..... The accessories there also veri nice but for shoes wise.... They dun have much variety....... The have guys clothing... But not many.......

After that, we went back to hotel to put all our stuff and proceed out for dinner.....

We split with Ailing, her bf and his family......... Mi, my aunt, Samantha and her bf went to a Thai resturant near our hotel which is much rave abt...... Mostly the customers are Thai.... U juz c alot of ppl den it is the right place... From Samran u need to walk pass a few shop which have KTV inside and the lights are dark...... Den u will find several road side stall and after that, u will find a shop with alot of ppl.... That is the resturant..... The food there is good... we ordered 6-7 dishes and it's onli 600+ baht which is ard S$30.... Cheap rite.... for 4 ppl...... I love the hotpot, bbq pork and the crispy fish salad......

Den, we went to Suan Lum Night Market.... Will not go there again.... The things there veri veri exp.... They quote veri high price..... After asking the price i also laz to bargain...... But i bought a bag there i like veri much... It is quoted at 300 baht which i tink is still ok.... den i manage to bargain until 280 baht....... Other den tat, we manage to bought dresses at a shop..... But i forgot how much le.... I tink is 200+ baht......

After we finished walking there, we dragged our tired feet back to our hotel.... There is a massage palour next to our hotel... But as we dun c anyone in there, we dun dare to try (after that den we know there it is quite famous and it tok abt in the LD from ailing)

Day 2

Wake up early and have breakfast at the hotel..... They have diff type of breakfast for u to choose from, American Breakfast, Pan Cake, Crossique bread(dunno how to spell), Soup Noodle, Fried Noodle, and Fried Rice... I tink tat's it.... I tried the American Breakfast and Pan cake with my aunt.... The American Breakfast have 2 eggs, 1 saugge, 1 small piece of ham and 2 toasted bread.... It is nice... I like the ham but so small piece onli.... The pan cake is veri veri nice.... Recommanded......

After that, we went to the famous temple to pray... Took a BTS there......

Den, we split up again.... My group (the same ppl) walk to MBK.... On the way pass by few shopping mall and went in to have a look.... The Zara and MNG is not cheap there.... I feel that the branded shops are nt cheaper in BKK....

So we went to MBK.... Wanted to try the Zen, jap resturant.... But it is under renovation... So in the end, we went to another jap resturant called, little boat (in chinese).... The food there so-so onli.... I ordered a bowl of tempura noodles at 110 baht..... The noodles so-so and the tempura soak until not nice le.... den i tried my aunt chicken cutlet.... No taste de..... Next time dun go there......

Den we walked ard MBK and i bought 3 bags at 199 baht from there...... And bought bras from there... It is cheaper den singapore.....

At night, we went back to the same place for dinner.... this time, we bought Ailing them along too..... All of us enjoyed the food veri much.......

After a satisfying dinner, we took a cab to Memorial Bridge Night Market....... Love it there.... The clothes is cheap and the accessories necklace onli 29 baht..... Veri cheap.... Good to shop there.... like pasa malam like that.... the night market there is more for local so their english not veri good... and the ppl there very friendly... can bargain if u buy more and can try... for bottom, u use a sarong for top.... u can juz wear it and try...... If u dun buy, they won't scold u de...... But too bad... i cannot find any bottom for my size... cos the cutting there veri small......

Before going back to hotel, we went to the massage palor beside Samran... After wat Ailing told us, we are more comfortable abt going there...... Mi, Samantha and her bf do foot masssage and my aunt do thai massage.....

It is wonderful.... But when the lady rub my small leg, it is veri painful.... Overall, it is a gd experience.......

Day 3

Went to CTC early morning.... took the BTS to Mo Chit...... Almost forgot to take my wallet out, went back to hotel to take.......

At CTC, we split up, mi and my aunt went together..... CTC things is veri cheap.... They have alot of section.... From furnitures to pets and clothing.... We went straight to the clothing section.....

The clothes there veri cheap too..... And alot of stall selling nice t-shirt... abit regret never buying more..... the bags there veri cheap too selling at 100baht onli...... Bought another 3 bags from there too...... We walked until ard 4pm.... The weather is veri hot and the sun veri glaring... so we decided to proceed back to the hotel.... Actually if u stay inside the tent it is ok.... but once u came out into the sun..... There's when u really get hot......

At the hotel, we ordered room service and share for our lunch..... We try the fried noodle with chicken/pork and vegetables which ailing recommended... she say it is veri nice and is like fried hor fun...... It is 99 baht but the waiter never return mi the 1 baht... But nvm lah....

Den when Samantha came back, i recommended her the dish too and she also ordered..... The fried noodle is nice..... not bad.... next time can try the other dish.....

For dinner, we went to Chinatown... As we went in diff cab, so we split up into 2 groups too..... Ailing them went to Nam Xing.... And we went to T&K recommended in LD..... It is on the left of Nam Xing... it is like a road side stall but as u followed the waiter in, they will lead u inside a building with air-conditionered....... there are a few level... each level onli have ard 5 tables..... We walked up to the 3rd level.......

We ordered, a claypot sharkfin to share, a fried sotong, kang kong, tom yam, crab with glass noodle inside the body, one steamed fish..... The food is great and the price reasonable......

Den we proceed to Memorial Bridge again as the shopping there is good and there is no other place to walk at night.......

Took a tuk tuk there..... Great experience........

This time, we went too early... some shop still haven't open.... wanted to buy some more accessories.... but they not open yet... too bad....... so next time if wen to go memorial bridge, go at a later time.....

As we went there before and some stall not opened, so we went off quite early and decided to tried the massage palour next to Asia hotel as Samantha said she went there before and it's good.... So we took a cab there....... Outside the massage palour, there is a road side stall selling shoes at 49 and 99 baht... veri nice... bought 2 look alike birkenstock for 99 baht each..... Den we went to the massage palour..... Their uniform is pink colour, the first stall from the right of the lane...... We do the same thing.... except this time Samantha bf went back to the hotel first.... We felt that the massage palour is beta den the one near Samran as they use more strength and the technics they use a bit diff......

Den we went to found the famour Wan Ton Mee stall...... Found it near to the 7-11... very near to Asia Hotel..... We decided to pack back.....

A the hotel trying the wan ton mee, adding the chilli powder in.... I feel that it is nice but not as fantastic as they rave abt.... Maybe cos it is cold.....

Day 4

For breakfast, i tried the fried noodle.... It is nice...... I like it.......

After breakfast, all of us free and easy, we split up and went to the place we want to go..... Mi and my aunt went to Platium Mall as we onli finished walking the basement...... Not enough money left... So went to change more......

This time at Platium Mall, we spend more rationally... Cos the first day we c cheap den buy and some clothes i cannot wear.... wasted.... So this time, we onli buy when we really like it and confirm can wear de....... We bought alot of necklace this time...... And i also bought a wallet for my mum.... Have lunch at the food court there.... The food there not bad..... After that we continue our shopping... den my aunt say she want to eat the crepe at the basement.... It is veri nice.... u can choose alot of diff combination of ingredient.... And she also say she tired le.... Actually she also short of cash le...... so we split up.... I continue shopping while she find a place to rest her feet.......

After that, we meet up again to go to MBK to meet up with the rest....... Actually wanted to take a cab there.... But too many ppl waiting so we decided to take BTS.... But we get off at the wrong station.... so we need to walk a long distance...... On the way, we saw ppl filming Bollywood movie.......

We meet Samantha and her bf for dinner.... Decided to juz eat at KFC.... The KFC set for 2 piece chicken meal consists of 2 chicken, 1 glass of peisi and 1 packet of fries..... for 109 baht...... They got sell rice too....... The chicken there not much diff from singapore de.....

Den, we went to buy some local food to bring back to singapore.....

After that, we split up again... My aunt wanted to go wash, cut and blow her hair.... And i wanted to go make eyelash extension... so we split up too..... i meet ailing them and went to plaza 29.... Ailing and Kok Chuan's brother gf do manicure and i do eyelash extension for 700 baht..... Actually i wanted to go eyelash extension den manicure.... but they close veri early..... they close at 9pm bkk time..... I c Ailing manicure veri nice lor..... *sad* den my eyelash looks weird at first..... It is veri dense but not curl enough.......

We took a cab to Asia Hotel for another round of massage...... We went to Asia hotel first and went to Naraku shop.... the things there veri nice..... Bought a cosmetic pouch.... The small mirror veri cute... 30 baht onli... too bad i bought things for my friends le.... orelse will buy it for them.... But in the end i bought 2.... thinking 1 for my friend den the other for myself (in the end my mum likes so i give mine to her)..... bought a pouch which have a tissue holder for my mum....

After buying so many things, we went for our massage... as there is not enough place for the 3 of us to do foot massage, the lady say we can go up the room (which is for thai massage) for our foot massage... This is the first time i do foot massage while laying down...... The lady is veri good..... At the end where by they will massage ur shoulder, they do abit like the thai massage thing.... Actually wanted to try thai massage but too bad my "big auntie" came... so cannot do.....

After a relaxing massage, we went to eat the wan ton mee..... This time, we sit there and eat... And true, it is nicer to eat there... We ordered the dry and soup wan ton mee to try..... I like the dry one cos can add the chilli powder..... The dry one comes with soup too... I tink is winter melon soup cos there got a few piece of winter melon.... But it taste diff from singapore de.... It is veri tasty.... But it is a bit salty... like put too many MSG......... Each bowl cost 30 baht onli.....

Last night at the hotel.......

Day 5

Our is 11.45am flight,bkk time..... get up early and proceed to airport...... Bye BKK......

Count Down..... 2 More Days to BKK!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!

Finally... My Bkk trip is near..... but strangely..... not feeling veri excited abt it..... Maybe will feel it on thurs ba......

Going there to shop til siao.... but i scare dun have my size de.... Cos mostly the clothes are in free size.......

I'm veri veri tired today...... Ytd slp at 2am+ den today wake up at abt 7pm for my lesson...... sianz....

Later still need to help my mum with the pineapple tarts.......

I really really veri tired.... online cos i need to charge my mp3 using the comp... Tired till i cannot tink probably......

Today is 13 January 2007, Sunday.....

Let me c what happened during the week......

Monday:
Nothing much.... The same thing as usual.... Went to school....

Tuesday:
Hmmm.... Oh yeah... When i went to school, on the bus, i fell asleep.... Den dunno wat bite my leg and i was awake by the itchness.......

Wednesday:
Dun like wednesday... cos need to go to work... So damn sian.... Also nth much happened......

Thursday:
Same as Wednesday.....

Friday:
Yeah.... Friday is good... except that dunno y the day passes very slow.... And is Lijin's birthday..... Her 20th birthday... She dun like.. Cos she say 20th like very old le.... (-_-)" She 20 onli lor.... Mi this year 23 le also like that......

Surprisely, that day Carman brought us out for lunch at Geylang... We ate prawn noodles... But on the way we didn't talk to her much... Feel weird...... Den when we came back, in the mrt station, Carman went missing.... Cos mi, meishi and lijin took the escalator up and carman took the stairs.... So when we reached the top, we cannot find carman..... Therefore, we called Lina to c if carman is back... But she is not!!!!

Den meishi told mi that maybe carman go buy cake for lijin.... But we both put off the idea... saying that if this happened, earth and heaven shake..... so we went back to office to wait for her.....

In the end, she really go and buy a cake,..... mi and meishi look at each other.........

After tat, for the birthday cake, we put 20 blue candles on it (will upload the pic next time).... Den we all sang birthday song for lijin..... She sure have a memorable birthday... lol.....

Oh yeah... almost forgot..... cos of wat carman did... We decided to share money buy toto and 4D.... Hope that can strike.... I still haven't check the 4D for ytd.... tonight will go check.... Wish us luck... Hope that will strike... :)

Initially, i meeting lizhen for dinner... But in the end she need to OT so cannot make it.... So home for dinner....

Saturday:
Went to Alisa's fren, Amanda, hse for manjong session with michael..... The day starting out bad for mi...

1. When i brushed my teeth, the toothpaste dropped on my shirt, nvm this things happen.... But today not once but 3-4 times.....
2. I need to wash clothes so late
3. I accidentally used my toothbrush to srub the washing bowl.... And had to throw away...
4. I did not slp well the night b4 so not feeling too well
5. When i was queueing to pay for my drink, at my turn, the person in front of mi got some problem so i was stuck there.....

So u c..... I was having bad luck....

And it was the first time i play 20/40 cents... usually i play 10/20 cents onli..... And the players all quite experience......

We played from ard 12pm+ to 8pm+.... In the end, i won $38.... Alisa no win no lose.... Amanda lost $2... and Michael the worse lost $36..... So i was happy..... :)

Usually i played manjong, 9 out of 10 games i will lose... But tis time i actually win..... :)

Sunday:
Juz now helped my mum bake almond cookies for CNY..... Tonight still need to continue... And for the rest of the week until CNY, i will be helping with the CNY goodies.... Cos need to give relatives... It is cheaper to make ourselves than to buy..... But very troublesome...... And time consuming.... Haiz.....

Kk... That's all for the week....

Hmmm... next week i wan to go sing ktv... But tuesday after school dunno can or not... Cos need to wait for loy and i need to go home to help my mum.... I wanted to go on mon b4 sch... cos the morning class was cancel... but loy cannot make it.. she got lesson....... will c how ba....

Update on wat i done during countdown....

Meey up with Dinah, Jinmin, and Jinmin's fren at Esplanada for fireworks... It was soooooo crowded there..... Everywhere there are people..... But the fireworks were amazing...... It's sooo nice.... But there is a group of teenagers near us keep making the "wooooow" sound... Trying to be irritating (not trying is very irritating)...... The worse thing is when going off.... The aunties all squeeze when there is no place to move.... Everyone is move tortoise speed cos alot of people... And there the aunties are squeezing all the way..... Usually a walk to boat quay onli takes like 10-15mins, we took 30mins or more.... Can u imagine how many people there are????

Finally, we manage to reach boat quay to meet up with Venessa and Loydrea..... Venessa's fren drinking at a pub there... So we are tinking of joining them.... But when we reached the pub, it is very small and crowded... So we decided to look for other place.... We tried Eski (i tink i spelled wrongly but what the heck) Bar... But there is no table for us.... As the time is late, ard 2am, we decided to go back to the pub and joined Ven.....

Ordered a bottle of absolute volka to share... But as Jinmin dun like to drink volka, she left early to meet another fren of hers......

We went on drinking and playing poker cards, den Dinah's poly fren and her officer fren came to look for her....

In the end, Dinah went off with her officer fren and we continued drinking and playing.....

I tink Ven drank alot b4 meeting us ba... Cos she totally drunk le... At first she juz sit there with her head down, then, she started vomiting.... And her bf took care of her...... Loydrea abit drunk also lor.... Cos she abit 语无伦次 le..... But luckily she recovered in the end......

We stayed until the pub closed at 6am and sit outside for Ven to rest abit.... Loy lucky cos Ven and her fren all stayed in the West.... So she can share cab with them.... But i need to take mrt home myself... So sad.....

In the MRT, i'm quite tired so i closed my eyes to rest for awhile.... I wake up when i'm 1 stop away from my stop..... As i feel like vomitting..... I tried to keep it down by tiling my head up... But i can still feel it coming up...... Luckily i have a pack of tissue with mi... So i faster covered my mouth b4 i vomit all over the place......

In the end, i keep it in my mouth and as i reached my stop, i hurried to the nearest rubbish bin and empty my mouth..... Lucky i vomit abit onli..... Actually b4 that i feel not so well le.... My stomach feel bloated as the alchole like cannot go down into my stomach and get struck at my upper stomach... U noe wat i mean???? (dunno also nvm)

So after i vomit out, i feel beta...... And proceed home.....

That night Dinah veri hot wor.... Kelvin's fren, Marcus, and Christopher both wooing her..... Try to help Christopher abit.. (cos he treat us drink.. :) Although Kelvin and his fren treat us Tequila Pop) But too bad lah... You dun have BMW...... But have fun with them.... Christopher frenz all quite nice.... Den Jinmin really dance queen lor.....
We dance until the club close at 3am and we are still feeling very high den suddenly stop... Haiz.... Where got close so early de.....

Looks like it's going to rain soon.... Luckily today not going out..... These few days weather damn hot.. today rain also good lah.....

Last friday meet up with Ailing for dinner at Waraku at Marina Square... It is a Japanses resturant... The food there very nice... I want to go there again...

When i was there, i dunno wat to order... Ailing ordered the curry katsu don (soba with curry and fried chicken cutlet), i try and the curry is very nice... Taste like the maggie curry chicken instant noodle but with a thicker soup base... Nice... I ended up ordering the winter special, oyster chige udon.... The soup is like spicy kimchi soup.... with 3 oyster... We also ordered a mixed tempura side dish... The ebi tempura (prawn) is very nice... Should go and try it.... The menu... I got take photos of the food... But lazy to upload... next time ba... :p

Oh yeah... remember to call for reservation as it always full house.... So as not to wait too long, it is better to make a call first.....

After tat, we went to bugis village to shop... Ailing bought a legging for onli $10 cos it is not those sheer type.. It is full legging made of cotton.... She keep tempting mi to buy things.... (-_-)" Mi very poor one leh... No bonus.... And not working full-time.....

Ytd (Saturday) mi and Venessa, my SIM fren, we set up a stall at the Lime flea market.... It is from 1pm to 7pm... Actually is Venessa register de... Den i share with her..... There day i bring 3 big bags there lor... so heavy..... Took a cab there... Haiz.... so exp $11....

After setting down, it started to rain on and off..... Cosing my clothes to be wet and no customers..... We need to sell our clothes at a very cheap price in order to have customer... I tink Venessa sell more den mi cos her clothes is more suitable for the crowd.... There is one lady.. I told her the top is selling at $6 den after that she bargain $2.... $2??? so low... the top is very new.. wore once onli.... den i cut until $3..... When she pay she still bargainin for $2.... Very wat rite.... Haiz... Cannot make it.... luckily in the end still got profit a bit... But i need to carry my stuff back taking the bus and MRT..... very paiseh... cos all the ppl looking at mi struggling with 3 big bags..... Venessa still got her bf helping her and her bf drove there... so good.....

When i get off the MRT and was walking home, there is one ah pek carrying his grand-daughter (???) saw mi and say in chinese, "Big bag small bag, three four bag" and keep on repeating... I'm so frustrated.... Feel like turning back and scold him... I was very tired le... and struggling with my 3 heavy bag..... So in the end i still walk faster to get far from him.... >_<

My mum "da bao" rice back for mi from my grandma house... But not much food... abit of rice, soup and fish... I was very hungry then.... cos i onli ate breakfast and didnt eat any lunch.... den my mum tempt mi by saying,"if you hungry den order KFC delivery lor..." and mi replying,"you pay den i call lor...." and my mum,"I cook instant noodle for you free..." OMG!!! How come i got such a mum!!!!!!!

In the end, we come to an agreement.... I pay for the KFC and she pay for the dinner the next day..... Cos for KFC, you need to have a minimum order of $12 to be deliver..... So i ordered the buddy meal and my mum still want to add the salad for $2.30... (i tink she also want to eat KFC therefore she suggested it) which is soooo exp for a small cup of salad... I can go market buy the veg and make for her lor...... cheaper and larger portion.....

And today, we went to HM cos i want to return my long overdue library books... Also, my mum bought christmas present for my little cousins..... and we bought the fish crackers (very very nice.. muz try) from the pasa malam and drumstick rice and durian and fish head otak and went back home for dinner..... Had a very very full dinner.... :p

Wanted to diet... need to try harder... cannot be tempt again.....

Coming uesday is my advance driving theory test.. but i have yet to study.. Haiz.... tmr will study hard... wish mi luck!!!!

Dunno what to blog abt.... Today Yanhong going to Taiwan... So many ppl going taiwan this year...... Got mi, shan, Dinah, Venessa, Yanhong, i tink still got.. but i forgot le...

Now very very full, juz finish my lunch... Cup noodle from taiwan.... Taiwan cup noodle very nice.. unlike singapore de... they got put real meat inside... Although a bit onli..... But i like the soup very siok... :)

Last week at my workplace the "car door" very weird.... Wednesday anyhow scold ppl... den thurs and fri suddenly so quiet... we tok also nvr scold us... dunno whether is "the calmness before a storm" or not..... *scare scare"

Ytd meet up with ex-colleague from citibank for dinner at Tampines.... Went to Coffee Bean..... There's onli hue bin, doris, karen, kit and mi,,, Actually wanted to ask Kacy along.. Cos long time nvr c her le... But she sick.... So no choice... Meet other time.... Kacy really work very hard lor... Always go for late lunch or dun eat at all... Den very early reached office le.... Haiz...... I tink she now skeleton le.....

One of these day go eat steamboat... I want to go sing KTV also.... :p

Next tues got marketing test but i still haven't study!!! die!!! 5 topics leh... Haiz... actually want to start studying de... but always end up using the comp.... Haiz......

Tmr going National Library with Mingli to study...... Very hardworking rite... Lol.... Need to study le.. Last year cannot fail... Outing with Ailing & Samantha

Went out with Ailing and Samantha ytd at Bugis.... And took lots of photos at TCC...... I almost cannot make it to the outing cos my "big aunt" came... And had cramps.... Luckily after taking panadol i felt better..... :)
